Who thinks that Berg should be concentrating on bringing a smaller bike to the market? I think that a FE300E would be an awesome machine. The latest crop of 250 thumpers are super bikes if they had just a little more grunt, hence the 300cc idea.

More and more guys are giving up on the 450 + cc bikes in order to get a more flickable trail bike and are realizing that they are faster on a less powerful bike.

Any thoughts?

I have seen 250 Husaberg's sometime ago, but these were converted 400's. I think that Husaberg isn't allowed to bring out a 250f before "orange" sort the problems on their model. Almost the same when the 450SX was presented, Husaberg still had the 470. Saying the 450 was to be the best new bike out there and therefore had to be tested. NOT!!!! They had to wait as it was better then the SX and had to do some changes not to make the SX look too bad and weren't allowed to release it yet.
I think by now the engineers/ KTM are making themselves look rather bad. Everyone has a competitive 250f but them. At first there were major problems with the engine, it looked ok so the release was 2005 but now some problems occur and the release is set to 2006. Saying" we don't want to make the same misstake as we did with the 450SX by bringing it out too soon" Looks to me by then they have missed the boat.
I would like to know some changes in design/engine for 2005 in general, if any.

Little thumper

Nice idea Scott, love to see Husaberg bring out a little thumper i`m sure it would be up there with rest of them.
