I found another Husaberg website and I didn't see too many posters from this website. husaberg[dot]com

sucky sucky....

owned by round2it, it's simply there because they scavenge domains when they come up for renewal, and sell them at scalper's prices when someone wants it. You can see all the domains they've scooped up HERE

They simply have the forums there to get in the search engines, kind of like free advertising. There are 13 topics in the forum. You can decide for yourself the activity level of the site.

I visit TT, KTMT, and all the other sites that are built for enthusiasts, but on principle, I won't visit sites that exist soley to make money on the domain, and don't take into account the enthusiast base they would shut down when they sell the domain(their only goal).

thanks,

Ya know Taffy you really do need to be more careful with the new members. You are very close to being banished to the "Unofficial Gay Husaberg Enthusiasts Site" for eternity and we wouldn't want that to happen!

what, me worry?

aww, taf, I don't get in a bind anymore, I have a Husaberg(assembled and in my posession no less!), but I just don't care for the tactics of scalpers.

I don't know the validity of the rumors, but I've heard through the grapevine that BMG has considered starting an enthusiast site of their own to provide assistance and info. I think that would be a great resource and I'd get behind it, but husaberg.com? No way.

You're gay taf? I'd have never guessed it. I don't mind so much now telling you that you have a nice bum.

thanks,

Well, finally someone says it in public.
After all of the behind the scenes "incenuendoes" that I heard from Fryberger and the rest about Taffy's rear view. It's good to hear a man flatter another about his nice heine. Rock on Taffy.

Capitalism 101

A business starts to succeed and someone takes notice, sets up shop and now we have two companies competing for customers. If two can make money certainly there is more room at the top and many more spring up.

This proliferation gets the attention of the big fish (consolidators). The consolidators buy up a bunch of little companies , make them all look the same and start a big ad campaign. Other consolidators see whats going on and get in on the action too. Very few small companies are left and its now consolidator vs. cosolidator.

Of course its now only a matter of time before one of the consolidators run out of money and sell out to another consolidator. Eventually only one consolidator is left standing and starts the downsizing process. Leaving a path of destruction in its wake. We are now back to square one but must deal with an inefficient and impersonal shell of what once was a long time ago.

anything that dilutes is bad news for the OWNER. to have all the information in one place is very important.

i'm quite proud of the fun and work (believe me it was work) i did at TT. it's still a good place to go. but i can see that what attracts people is the info that they can gain that empowers them and their ownership. we are without doubt good news to the husey owner. by marching forward we have direction. lose that and it'll implode. it also keeps the idiots from the door when you get down to it.

however the very flees that itch eventually force the dog to scratch and shake. that's when the flees fall off....

TT is now just a hole for those who talk drivel to congregate. you can't learn anything there, it's full of stupid questions about nothing, it's a void for people, time and energy.

as long as we run a tight ship this place'll be fun but as soon as it slips then i'm off for one. it's ok, you'll know when it's happening, i shall let you all know, it'll be easy to read my symptoms.

remember that 20 x no knowledge is = to NO KNOWLEDGE.

regards

taffy

I can't see how there could be room for another Husaberg website. This one covers it all for my money. :D

Amen, if you can't figure out how to do it through the advice here you 1. don't even own a Berg 2. are one of the few that should leave well enough alone and let the dealer do it. A long over due thanks to all that got me up to speed on the new series motors.
