Posted a couple of times before, but thought I would throw out a hello to the other riders out there.

Picked up a 2014 FE 350. Fairly low kms - around 1500 I believe and well kept. Was owned by a FE350 on these boards.

Bike mods in place to be plated for the street from FE350. I added keyed switch for ignition. Still trying to get horn to work, but not all that concerned. Added a pair of cheap folding mirrors, but will have to look at other options, the mirrrors are all but useless, other than checking a box to say, yes for mirrors.

Bike is setup tubliss which is nice for the riding I am doing in the Vancouver area. Got a set of Steg Pegz and a Mid-West clutch lever on route to me as well.

Got a few hours on the bike now and liking it. Suspension is a little softer than my previous bike, which is nice. I will try adding a little rebound damping on the back to settle the back down a bit.

Getting used to the gearing. My previous bike had 1, 2, 3 all really close. The FE350 is low in first but 2nd is a taller gear. Getting used to step from 1st to 2nd as most of the riding I am doing is slower tech riding.

The bike has a nice calm power delivery. Maybe because it's pretty quiet it fools you a little. Third gear is nice for lifting the front end with throttle only, 1st and 2nd seem to break traction with throttle only. Yes, with using clutch and throttle combo the bike will easily pull the front up in 1st and 2nd, I am talking about just cracking the throttle and letting the bike do everything.

Need more time on the bike to really get the feel for it, but liking what I have seen so far from the bike.

Need to get a better picture, but for now, here's a shot.
