LeFrog: Thanks for the heads up on the bike. I'm alway's looking for parts!

Hey taffy,
Some may find it depressing....others find it an opportunity  I guess you just have to see the glass half full rather than half empty :)

berger, i have NO PROBLEM with the issue! would you care to look at the thread title again please and then be honest and tell me what you REALLY think!!!!

regards

taffy

Yes, Berger, it's the American way of life: always see the glass half full.

The Europeans sound so depressed these days...

Taffy: "Sacrebleu" is something they used to say in the 17th century and "bleu" was used to prevent using the name of the Lord in vain ("Dieu"). Nowadays the "M" word is what you'd use.

I think, that Lefrog and nicver(ktmtalk) are the same person, if so lefrog is always upbeat about his predicament and about bergs when posting on KTM talk. if it is not then... well you know what they say about people who ***-U-ME....

but you are right Taffy, the title of this post does smack abit like a former berg owner who does nothing but bash bergs and their owners... t-jet here and wilkum on ktmtalk...

I think that it sounds like that to us because we have been reading about his starting woes and hearing a bit of frustration, but if you just read it at face value it looks/sounds like "Hey there is a berg being parted out, get it while the getting is good" which is what i am doing.... :)

LeFrog, I believe your issues will get sorted, I don't know what you paid for the bike, But I am sure that once it is sorted out it will have been worth it!

Yes it is the same person but I am in changing my nick to that frog thing and I wish I had done it during that French bashing thing, that would have been a lot more fun back then.

Seriously, it is a great bike to ride. I rode it once and the experience was great except for the starting issue and also a nice fall due to my suspension not being dialed in.

I love this bike, it is an awesome bike and, as expected, needs some tinkering with. I got my money's worth of great riding and tinkering.

Gives me an excuse to spend time in the garage by myself. 8)

Regarding Tim: as I said, I just it's bad for him that he had a bad experience with Husaberg, but I had a bad experience with Suzuki and I am not trashing the brand left and right.

Okay, I'm feeling a little bit challenged right now.

Do I have to join KTMtalk to view the thread?? I click on the link provided but it tells me something to the effect of I have to be a member to view the topic.

Any help?

Dale, You can join if you want but as a post over there stated... and i embellish, everything here (ktmtalk) is old news regurgitated, check out husaberg.org for your berg fix.

I was just reading there last night after checking the specifics on the berg being parted out. I read quite a bit and was pretty disgusted with t-jet's incessant posting, he is in almost every thread no matter what it is about. (he goes by wilkum there) that man sounds like a woman scorned... he seriously needs some therapy to let this one go....

he mentioned at one point that he is no different than us bashing other makes here on UHE, I started laughing. rarely if ever have i seen anyone on this board bash another make (except for in jest) and there is never an entire thread devoted to the misgivings of another brand like what you would see on TT and KT, another reason why this group is so appealing.

See... we all KNOW we have the best, we don't need to make ourselves feel better about our purchases by bashing others who have yet to see the light... :D

Believe me I sat in my garage last night for hours just staring at it hoping the parts would magically appear. I know that The parts trans cover gasket and started clutch, from Motoxotica will arrive today... but that radiator from up in fryguy's neck of the woods.... I am crossing my fingers.... I swear does anyone going on the ride have a spare radiator i can throw on for the weekend ride? I will pay rent! I missed the moab ride... don't want to miss this one...

almost 400 bucks(with tax) for a new radiator, I have to buy a used one....

The only difference between the two is that the '97 has some small tabs to old on the old style shrouds, and they are painted black. The mount points are the same. Well, at least the two I once compared, were the same.

8O 8O 8O 8O

(excitement mounts) if this is true, do you mind? I will let you know by thursday if the other one does not arrive. Can anyone confirm that this is the only difference?

I would not of offered, if I did. :D I am leaving Friday for Bobzilla country, so I hope you do not wait till the last minute, if you need it. I have a 2k radiator around here somewhere, so I compared them once. That is how I know. I finally found my '97 radiator in the backyard this evening, btw.
