Greetings,
I recently purchased not only my first off road bike, but first foreign bike to boot. I have been riding the highways since I was 15, and thought, lets try off road.
So my first bike is a 2002 FE501e, and so far GREAT!!!! I found a local guy selling this bike, but I first thought I better do some research about the company, the machine, and learn as much as I could about Husaberg. From what I have read, seen and discovered, I think I made a very good decision buying this bike.
One of my concerns was the availability of parts in Canada (where I'm from and live), and the delivery times. Turns out there is only 1 Husaberg dealer in Alberta, but I spoken with the dealer and they have pretty much anything a person would need to ride, and keep this machine in top shape.
My riding buddy pilots a KTM 525 EXC, and turns out that our bikes are very much alike.
So, having read thru all the posts on this site, and learning alot about Husabergs, I look forward to talking with this group, and learing how to ride off road, and keep the bike up right.....
