Hi Guys,

I just want to let you all know there is a dutch guy that has an offroad business in Portugal. He started with KTM's but since 2 years he uses, and reeeaaaally uses Husabergs. I don't think there is any place in the wordl where 8 Husabergs get so ubused as with him.
They are beaten up and trashed over rocks and powderdust every single day by complete novice idiots, by hard-enduro riders and even Dakar trainers. And they keep going and going and going...........................

Have a look at: http://www.algarve-offroad.com/eng/index.php

(by the way it's very easy and cheap to get there by plane, they pick you up from Faro Airport)

This may sound stupid but why have they changed the rear wheel size on their bikes?

In Portugal there is no such stupid things like no permission to use MX tires in public roads...or in the trails.

MX tires have more grip...and are cheaper than the very expensive FIM Enduro tires...

I tought that our police was enforcing the tire size at least but it doesn't seem so even for that...that's why there are also a lot of 21+18 or 21+19 bikes converted to 17+17 (Supermotard) and no one cares

You can ride Husabergs in Turkey too! I did and this was the reason why i bought my FE400E. I just got along with it better that with the KTM EXC400. Check out www.yoshimoto.de This company belongs to a German guy and a lot of Dutch and German enduro lovers have been there, most of them more than once! He runs mostly KTM's but also a couple of Husabergs. And the bikes don't get spared! One of the guides is a Brit. This company has been around for a long time and realy know there stuff. The Turkish hospitality is a bonus! The only drawback is that you have to stop so often to pee because the Turks make you drink a lot of thee!
