Air Intake Sensor Flasch Code 13

I have a 2011 FS 570 with only 22 hours and the flash code is blinking one long, 3 short: air intake temp sensor. I have never removed the gas tank. Any ideas? Help? The nearest Husaberg dealer is far far away.....

Perhaps the shock has rubbed through the wire? Some people here warn others to tyrap the wire going to this sensor, isn't it?

That is the sensor under the airfilter the has the plug on the back of the airboot, easy enough to check. Wire may have touched the header and melted through.

Thanks. Will check this afternoon. If I do a long ride to a mechanics do you think I risk hurting the engine. Seems to be running ok, maybe a little rich.

You'd better remove the tank and see if it somehow worked itselves loose or check for corrosion on the plugs.

Should that not be the case, swap a sensor with one of your friends. If the error disappears, you'll know for sure.
