Hi All.

Had the head off to fix a dodgy valve guide and noticed a water jacket air bleed screw between the exhaust ports. Are there any others?

Cheers Phil.

it's the only one on the pre '03s. after that they have one on the right hand side of thre head to the left of the area for the spark plug as you look at it.

regards

Taffy

For what it's worth.........

The video that I got with my 01 had this to say about bleeding the air out of the system.

Fill radiator.

Lay bike on it's left side. (You'll hear the coolant gurgling through the system)

Stand bike back up and check fluid, fill as necessary. (you will find that fluid level is lower)

Lay bike on right side. (You'll hear the coolant gurgling through the system)

Stand bike back up and check fluid, fill as necessary.

Repeat until the fluid level doesn't change.
