Well, I just broke another front brake lever. Oddly enough, the tangs that push the pushrod in broke (as they did last time), and despite 10 minutes digging in the dirt I couldn't find the pushrod.... again!

And just to rub the salt in, the world decided I should brake my arm in this latest off. Yay!!

Anyway, does anyone have a lead on aftermarket levers with the pushrod? Paying $54, plus delivery, for the Husaberg stuff is sending me broke! :)

It's an '05 450FE.

Haha Hey mate, I was reading your post and thought to myself that sounded way to familiar! Geez didn't know you broke your arm that's a bummer. How's that fuse problem going?

Not too sure about your brake lever had a search on the net couldn't find anything, where about's do you order your parts from?

Yeah, broken radius. I'm in a cast for six weeks. I've broken so many bones over the years I'm kinda used to it now! Hahaha. It's a bit hard to pull bits off the bike and chase wires at the moment too. :(

Not sure how I managed to ride out of the forest. Can't even take the lid off a bottle of milk at the moment!!

I get my parts from Flinders. It's not their fault Husaberg charge like wounded bulls for bis of plastic. :(

That sucks, well wish you a speedy recovery! That forest ride was a very eventful one, It's my fault I started the rain of bad luck  haha

Yeah it's hard to find parts for Husaberg's in Australia even with the newer model

Yes, we all blame you. :)

Parts are easy to find if you go to the local KTM dealer. But I don't like to support them.

motion pro levers are what i use.

a bit cheaper than stock and every bit as nice.

Hahaha well I've since install a Ultra Heavy Duty tube on the front and got one for the rear just not in yet. Hopefully no more pinch flats!

Yeah your right about KTM I don't like them either, and I don't think they like me

Thanks Leo.

Scott, don't worry about putting the HD tube in yet. Carry it as a spare and use it next time you get a puncture on the trail. Or put it in and carry the other as a spare.

I've got the front in, putting the rear in during the week and will carry the standard front one as a spare, hopefully getting a front fender bag to carry the tube, levers and repair kit in sometime soon.

Was also thinking about running some slime inside the tubes to self-repair small leaks, used to work good on my BMX bikes
