Ok, I can't handle the negativity anymore!!!!!!! I love my Husaberg damit!!! 2011 FE570S, 2500 miles and no real problems. I have put in a good fuel filter, a DJH tensioner, and religiously maintained the bike from day one. Lots of add ons, and I ride it to work and back every day. The bike rips, the suspension is better than average, I need some stiffer springs though, but that'll happen soon. The headlamp was lousy, but a new Vision X light fixed that and thank God for all the extra wattage to run lights, GPS, heated grips, and ets. Fairly comfortable, and still, it rips. I find myself wheeling when I shouldn't. I must look like a little kid grinning from ear to ear with this thing, and I'm a long way past being a little kid.

I'm planning a several thousand mile ride on the bike soon, and I'm looking forward to a great ride. Seriously, the bike isn't perfect, but then if I had wanted a pig that was perfect and would never have any issues, I'd of bought a KLR. I didn't, and for the performance and the type of bike, the husaberg has no other bike out there that even remotely competes.

I feel exactly the same way you do about my Berg!

When it runs..........

I keep hoping I am going to work out the last bug and then have exactly what you have. :bounce:

Mine was difficult to start initially, but I think that was because of the excessive backpressure induced by the factory muffler and because of the smog gear. I replaced the factory can with an FMF 4.1 and took off all the smog gear, and had the performance map flashed to the ECU, and it starts fine now, hot or cold. Fun to ride. Outstanding acceleration.

I hear you never had a issue with my Bergs. 100hrs on my old Fx450 no issues and 450hrs on my 09Fe and no issues, I wish it was a bit lighter in the mud but I have a 2T for that.

Actually I want to rebuild it soon and I keep looking at that 570 big bore kit in the classifieds drooling

I don't get it. You are actually mentioning a KLR and a Berg in the same sentence? And the KLR is "perfect"? That is an insult to the Berg. I had a KLR 650, did everything on it, from touring to single track. I hated the bike, but Ioved what I did with it. My FE450 is kinda like a KLR, they both have two wheels.

Now for some strange reason, I have a desire to build a KLR "replacement" out of a FE570. A big tank, comfy seat and you are good to go. It would be like a KLR from a different universe.

And I'm bad mentioning a KLR and a Berg in the same sentence, you just crossbred them and made them into a love child between John Candy and the fembot from the movie Heavy Metal. LOL!

Oh dear. Now I'm going to have to plug the exhaust of my 'Berg every night to make sure she doesn't get knocked up!

I reckon the Bergs are awesome, crying shame they are canning the 70 degree motor :( I've bought a 570 to get one of the last slanty engine'd ones. FMF pipe and Trailtech map switch have been ordered too.

I'm like a kid in a candy shop....show me the bling! :D
