the "go-pro hero" camera's are the best value for money units around at the moment. Just make sure you get the helmet mounts cos' there slightly curved.
 
We used a 3 years old Canon powershot camera. which we strapped on the helmet.... The water comes mostly from a glacier..... I dont think that it would be as much fun on a jetski

KFX, I just outlayed for the VIO POV1.5 its sweet, got it set up last weekend how I like it, will get a ride in the next week and a half, hopefully with my bro in law, and have some footage sooon from that.

Jesus! it just dawned on me how cold that must be! especially given that it sounded so windy in the camera mic! Brrrr.
 
I could do that and save myself the bother of getting kitted up - just through my bike in the swimming pool in the back yard!!!
 
Maybe you need to invest in the factory Husaberg sonar kit with optional long range deep
water warning alarm for riding in places like this. :idea:
