A little "background" please

so im pretty sure i know the answer here but, has anyone gotten background stickers for their pre 00 plastics? Im gussing the best thing to do is buy the big sheets and make my own huh?

Contact Decal works, they have been doing backgrounds for a very long time and may still have a pattern.

anyone else? short of spending $60 some odd dollars on a sticker for my side number plates i will have to get the cut it yourself and dont look stupid backgrounds i can get anywhere. can you here me laughing? Is this a normal price for backgrounds or are they all just jealous cuz i own a berg?

Yep, thats the going rate, and to make matters worse, you should get the applicator kit as well...another$14.00. I have the decal works backgrounds and they have held up very well and I would say it was worth the money.

I have found out that all those stickers add weight. What you decide to to do to your bike is your business but I don`t have any stickers except for my handguards. Nothing on the tank so I can tell how much gas is in there. 96 501 It might be me but I like to see whats going on. 50% one way 50% the other way.

man i have to agree normally Bill but now thati have her running and looking great i just want to add to it. I may forgo the backgrounds and get a nice skid plate instead what would you do?
