Took the bike out to a cycle ranch in N.TX and rode it for 3 hrs with my buddy who has a 99 yz400f.He just tore me up in the woods and on the straight a way. This bike is completly stock and should atleast keep up.The person I got it from said that it has a new top end that was done by a local KTM dealer.I pulled the rocker cover off to check why it made noise when ever I shut off the engine and found the cam timing retared 1 whole tooth on the cam sprocket. It was like 10 and 12 at top dead center insteed of 11 and 1.00.where the lobes where pointing.I havent got it back togeather yet to start it,but do yall think I found the low power problem? The timing chain looked new.as well as the cam.

.....yes sounds like it.

keep taking him on in the woods, I had a 99 WR400 and they push like hell on the front.
