Hello all. I picked up a '91 husaberg off of someone that needs some love to run again. The previous owner told me he cleaned the carb but I can't get the bike the bike to start. Being that it kicks over, I'm thinking either spark or carb settings.

Does anyone have any favorite baseline setting they use when they rebuild a carb for one of these? I believe it is a delorto 38 that came with the bike.

Thanks,
Nathan Price

flat slide or round slide? there will be a code for the carb on the body somewhere? PHB, PHM, etc etc.

I re -jetted a 1990 for a Frenchmen and he loves it.

You can look up your standard jetting here. Taffmeisters has the tricks to really dial in the jetting on these old Bergs.

The most common hard start problems are:

Stator gave up the ghost
Valves are not adjusted properly
Jetting needs refinement

Have you tried to pull start it with a car/truck or another bike?

On YouTube seen them start one bike with another bike. They put both rear wheel together end to end and started the second bike. I think it would be a good thing to know. Both bikes need side stands. By the way can you your pic bigger husabutt
