I'm having a little difficulties with e-start and battery charging. Previous owner claims that he didn't have regulator and e-start and battery charging worked well. Is that possible? I checked a little bit my wiring and I think that white and yellow (coming inside mag.cover) are going to regulator which I don't have? Then yellow-red is the + wire coming from regulator? Hopefully somebody understood?

Hi Jupe,

Welcome to the site, the device you should have is a combined regulator rectifer for your lighting and DC for charing the battery.
Recheck all connections and make sure you have got good grounding (earth).
Some of the early models had problems with the soldered connections on the actual stator this could be worth checking.
If you require a wiring diagram it can be down loaded from the SE site.
Can you do some voltage checks and let us know your findings.

Thanks... I founded wiring diagrams and made some new connections. Starter works fine, but I need to buy regulator for the charging...

That would be a regulator/rectifier.

OK... I'm from Finland and don't know the right terms in english. Battery is the next one to buy(allmos 3years old). Starter feels quite week. Doesen't rotate every time... And I'm going to make new wirings, because need only the starter...
