650 vs 550

hello.i am wondering what parts you can use from å 550 in a 650 engine(year 2002) thinking abuot cranck,ignition,cases,clutch and so on......sorry bad english i am from norway :wink:

I think it goes like

can't use

crank / rod /piston
crank cases / liner
camchain and maybe the tensioner sliders

piston can work if clearences checked and perhaps needs to be machined

everything else should be ok

differences between a 550 and a 650;
liner - won't swap
cases - won't swap
rod - won't swap
crank - won't swap
camchain from 650 fits 550 but not the other way around.

all else is the same for that year.
