650 engine questions

For a "build-from-scratch" road racing project, I am looking at using the Husaberg 650 engine. One of the first questions is how a proper frame could be constructed around it.

So, does anyone have the major engine dimensions of a Husaberg 650 motor, preferably a 2003 or later engine. The dimensions of most interest are: Engine mounting points, crank center line, gearbox output shaft center line.

Does anyone have or know anyone who has any experience in road racing (not SuperMotard) the Husaberg 650 motor?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

They're both friendly and helpful.

If you like I can also put you in touch with 2 guys who have years of experience building supermonos for both the UK and European championships. One of them is involved in the running and organisation of the UK championships and could even source you a frame built for a husa engine - there are definitely some around. PM me and I'll forward their contact details if you like.
