Took the plunge and bought the 5FIDDY that was at NMS. Was going for the NEW 06 5Fiddy but Mark made me a deal I couldn't refuse on the 05 5FIDDY plus ........It is already dualsported! You all know what a cheapskate I am and I couldn't see paying $1500 for a black seat and frame anyway.

Off to Mississippi with Shaggy a week from Friday for some more fun and sun so I will be incommunicado for another month or so.

Save me room in February........... I got something that will throw rocks a long way now. I wont even bring the DRZ............. Lots of faith now.

Hey Bigbob Wanna drag???????? Uphill??????in deep sand?????

So Jason .. am I back in the fold again?

P.S. since it is not really "NEW" I bet I dont get a jersey but I still gotta big smile :D

The Big Bad Wolf TE-510 is still in my quiver. After the wolf has won in the sand, then wanna then take the bergs thru some tight trees?

CONGRATS!

Way to go Bobzilla! H-berg We'll be looking for pics and reports!

One thing I've got to say in hopes of nipping this in the bud, I think the "5FIDDY" word should go the way of the "B" word unless your name is Slim Shady. You'll have to ask Husabutt or Json the rules on this. :D

Sincerely your pal,
Logjump

If your going to equate me with the Frog :p I may be "FORCED" to change my moniker to :

Congratulations, Bob! I was beginning to think you would never get one. When are you going to let me ride it? :D

Bobzilla,

Congratulation on your new ride. I look forward to riding with you again in the near future.

Mike

after riding my new 450e today I am jealous of that 550. Man oh man that must be an awesome thrill machine. I am glad I have the 450 I wanted smaller displacement for tighter spaces, and i have my 510, but learned also today how I do love 500+ bikes and that FE550e ooh man must be nice.

double Congrats. and yeah with Husaberg tall ratio gearing, forget about it I would have to change sprockets to desert mode 16/48 on my husky to have a change of keeping up with your Fe550e.

Zilla,

Congrats on the new ride!!! :greenjumpers:

If it is the bike I am thinking of, you will be glad to know that I have been personally traumatized by that particular machine. When we did the dealer ride in Reno, Mark took myself, Fryguy and Canuck fast guy Dan Watt to the desert to ride the 10 mile loop they had marked for us. They only problem was that it was pitch black in the desert by the time we unloaded the bikes!!

Having never thrown a leg over a bike in the desert before and certainly have not done any night riding on purpose since I was young and foolish....that 10 mile loop turned into an adventure I will never forget. Mark disappeared in a cloud of dust on your new 5fiddy followed by Fry & Dan on 6fiddys. I was at that back of the congo line trying to ride through the blinding dust cloud and wondering if I would finish the loop without dying. By the end of the loop I started getting comfortable and actually felt like the guys were riding too slow. I was so sick of eating the dust from the bikes in front of me that I put a pass on Fryguy and went after and by Dan Watt. For the record, I could never pass either one of those guys in the daylight so I figured it was a once in a lifetime shot at glory :D When we were close to the trucks again I also went by Mark on your new beast. I geuss anyone can be a hero if they ride over their head in the pitch black!

Without doubt, riding that night in the desert with those guys was a truly unique experience that I will never forget...including Mark on the dualsported 550. Good luck with your new ride and I am sure that it will provide countless adventures that you will remember for life.

Cheers

Yo Bobzilla,

Congrats on your  Fve-Fiddy, (Taff is that allowable?) If you got Mark`s bike does that mean brother Mike`s bike is still for sale? Hope you bring it down to Bergers AZ. ride in Feb.

Mike

FWIW, there is a post on KTMtalk under hte Husaberg forum from a former 520/525 owner that just got a 550, he has posted a very positive review. The FORCE is gaining strength!

hey bob

the brits just sent two guys over, i'm sure they rolled their sleeves up and got stuck in to clearing up-that would be typical of them i think!

Bob

I don't say much on this forum - not enough knowledge judging by what all the members know. Congrats on the new bike - I have on 04 550 and love it to bits (My Husaberg fitted with Black plastics, black tank, blue seat, 50 Stealth rear sprocket & Scotts/Ohlins steering damper - fantastic!!!!!) :D :p  8)
