570 engine in a old frame ?

Hi !

Has anybody tried fitting a 70 degree engine in a "old" frame ?

I Know that the 650 engine fit nicely in an older 501 chassie and so.

But if I want to fit a newer engine in my 06 650 chassie ?

Will in that case run with the CR Flast Carb and maybe make some kind of sepcial MAP from a 650 CDI-box ?

But is the fit possible, with exhaust and so on ?

edit:

Just realised that its quite difference, and maybe a swingarm and back wheel swap is needed ?
because of the chain being on the "wrong side" (left)

A 660 lc4 would fit without much blood or tears.

yea the chain is on the wrong side and the engine is kinda shaped weird, never saw one in person, but i think the way the cylinder comes out of the engine would be the main challenge i think............would need to start by getting some meaasurments of the old frame and the new engine and see if its feasably possible...definatly would be a one off!! likely to involve a pile of work!!

No it is not even close to being feasible. If something i would fit the old 650 engine in a modern ktm to get better handling
