550 to 650 build-up

Can a 05 550 motor be made into a 650? Can you just swap in a 650 crank assembly? I know the bore size is the same but are the cases and deck height the same? If so, are 650 cranks available? Thanks for any advice.

cases on the 550 have a 20mm shorter deck height

yep[ it has a 10mm longer stroke and a 12mm longer rod.

Thanks for the quick reply. Have a line on a 550 for a great price. Oh well, gotta keep up the 650 search.
