Hi.
Im going to change the battery on my 550 supermoto . Its 2007 model.
I want to go for one of the new types of battery , probably from Motobatt.
What size do i need , and will the higher CCA ones fit in my battery box.

Thanks

The motobatt ones look like lead-acid batteries, right? Have you considered getting lithium ferrophosphate (LiFePO4) batteries? They're way lighter, and last much longer - so they come out cheaper in the end.

I got a Shorai for my 2011 FE 570 and am very happy so far. Well worth the few extra bucks for peace of mind. It's smaller, (much) lighter and it holds a charge REALLY well. Plus, it's bio-degradable so you can tell people your moto is eco-friendly.

I got the shorai battery in my bike and its been great, about a year since its been in

Hi,

difficult to start FE650 2003 model had a 220 CCA SSB Lithium put in at $169 (Aussie) and it performed perfectly.

Also this battery weighs only 600-700 grams and when I first picked the battery up I was in complete disbelief it would be able to crank the bike over. I was very happy to be wrong !
I looked for the highest CCA std sized battery I could find and I am very happy with my buy.

My mechanic told me to fit on a yuasa battery for my 2007 550 husaberg, as its the best one but it's a bit expensive as it is around 120euros. Any recomendations?
