450 & 650 springs

Hallo, I'm new in the forum and I really appreciate the good wave of you all! (sorry my english

)

I have a question, I'm a happy owner of a 2004 650 Berg sm, last week something happen, the engine stop and when check I saw the exhaustvalve spring broken in two!

Now, I found in the Husaberg catalog that 450 model have double spring and 650 only one. Why? Can I mount the double spring on my 650? (I think is safer if one brocke...)

Welcome!

Some 04 engines did experience spring failure. A batch of improperly tempered springs was suspect.

Do not use the 450 "Dual Springs" with your stock cam and valves as float will result.
