did anyone actually ever make one of these work well? I know the photos in the doc came from a lad who gave the photos and then went strangely silent about the results....

I see the snowmobiles (skidoos?) use bigger carbs and there are even performance ones out there but what are they? 4T or 2T?

I made one 2years ago. and it work just fine as stock but more power on top rpm. I did it with the orginal taper and mittle ring, some pic in my gallery. But I never got the time to dyno it. Husa Factory Motards use 44mm just borred right trou, and they work good also, had a friend that had an ex works bike and it was no prob wit it.
there is Mikuni HSR up to 48 i think if you want bigger. now when i talked to Dr_C i know that 50mm isnt to big on an fully tuned 650.
