Have someone used the 210-watt Electrex replacement stator on a
Husaberg?
I would like to know if there could be a problem with the heat. It perhaps works very well on a KTM due to the oil bath but not on a Husaberg.
Since the stator runs dry U should be able to ventilate the cover and bring down the temp inside thus eliminating some of that concern.
This is common pratice on Husky Factory and Zupin SM Racers for example.

Has anyone installed one of these? I have a 2000 Motor and I need a new stator. As we all know, SEM Stators are good for about 2 years of riding. I have replaced 2 of them. They just die after about 2 years. BTW, I ride at least once a week!
I got the information today that KTM use the oil bath to cool the oil? The back draw should be higher temp in the stator. On the other hand, oil is better than moist and moist make the Kokusan to fail too but it will hopefully take longer time than for the SEM.
If you want to replace with a 05 stator it will work on the FC's you have to make a backing plate but will have to buy all the electric to make it work flywheel, stator, coil, and CDI.
