2014 Husaberg FE450 : useful mods ?

yo.

just picked up a new Husaberg 25th Anniversary Edition FE450.

just a couple of quick questions :

1. its basically a KTM450 EXC , right ? Anything that fits the KTM fits my Husaberg ? Important things like engine parts , exhaust , brakes , etc ? Stickers don't count

D) .

2. is a full system recommended ? FMF or Akra ? Or just a slip on ?

3. why does it not have an oxygen sensor on the header ? The bung is there but its closed with a bolt. The KTMs don't have them either. Does the Keihin efi system not need an O2 sensor input ?

Yes, most all KTM parts bolt right on, sans the subframe and cosmetic plastic.

I installed an FMF slip on. Noticeable response (snap) increase, but nothing for overall HP that I could tell.

I'm 5' 10" and installed Trailtech bar risers with the Scott's damper built in. Much better if your a stand up rider.

Scott's damper of course. Though I have it turned all the way down.

Stock tires SUCK!!!!

Midwest Mountain Engineering easy pull clutch lever.

And the forks. I was very disappointed in them for the first 3-4 rides. Messed with the settings. Still felt harsh.
But by the 5th ride it started breaking in, and oh man are they nice!! Just give em' time.

yo , thanks for the response.

am only 5'8" and I can tell that the bars are also too low for me when standing. Ie , you end up being in a stoop almost.

am looking at slip on / full systems and am going bananas !
