You don't say if the bits in the oil are metallic or not but if the bike runs and sounds OK I wouldn't worry too much over it. It could be machining/manufacturing debris left in when the engine was assembled. If it re-appears at the next oil change start investigating. A first oil change at 300k seems a bit late. First change in the maintenance schedule is at 1hour which is nowhere near 300k!
Sorry for the dumb question, but where is the maintenance schedule for a '11 FE 570 located? I must not have looked hard enough in the owners manual today?!?

my local ktm husaberg dealer told me to bring it back between 500 & 1000 :cuss: :cuss: :angry: for a first service just couldnt wait that long to dump that oil, im not worried just sharing for others...
