2011 fe 390

Imnew here but a 40 year dirt bike veteran.about to pull the trigger on a new fe390. Any advise pro or con ? I currently have a crf250 x and a wr300 husky, like the husky but 2 stroke hit is a handful at times . I ride technical trail and rocks with a mix of tight trails.

Brad, ivhave a 2012 390fe, and can't fault it, it will pull you out of alot of trouble, great low end power.

Buy it, u will be pleased with it

Glad to hear ! I'm looking for a nice power predictable 4stroke with great handling and reliability. How's it pull up erzberg type hills?

I found the 390 an overwhelmingly boring bike to ride. Power was ok but delivered very sedately, meaning great traction but it wasn't for me.

I'd be looking at the 450 or even the 570 seeing as you have a couple of smaller capacity bikes anyway. I'm picking up my 570 this week having come off a 2010 KTM 300.

It's like cheating, it handles like a 450 but has more torque and power everywhere and pulls like a train from any gear.
