2011 FE 390 fuel mapping???

Mine has the stock mapping and I keep hearing about this competition mapping or Euro mapping??

I called Malcolm Smith Motorsports in Riverside and they said NOOOOOOOO!!!!

Told me they are not allowed to do that.

What do I do? I've heard the comp map runs richer ie; bike cooler.

I would like to know also. My 2011 FE-570 is running so lean it pops constantly. I am taking my bike to the dealer on Tuesday and intend to ask about it. Hopefully they are a little more lax here in TX.

Its probably a CA thing. My dealer did it without hesitation. (I'm in PA).

If you can't get a dealer to remap it contact James Dean (JD Jetting) and ask about his Power Surge tuner. http://www.jdjetting.com/

I'm told by others who use it that it improves even the competition map settings. I'll be picking one up soon.

Does the JD tuner override and take place of the comp map?? If so....I'll just go that route if it's better.

3 Bros. Racing in Costa Mesa d/loaded the Comp Map to my '11FE570S without hesitation when it was brand new, 0 miles.
