Does my 2010 FE570 have a map switch? I don't see it anywhere.

Do Ihave to buy the KTM parts or 70 deg switch to change maps or is there another way? I noticed a lot of rear wheel slip when on single track on my first ride the other day.

The bikes do not come with the map switch - it is an option.

Many people (like me) do not like the Husaberg switch - it is a pain to use. The 70 Degree switch is much nicer.

Or you can make your own (I did). Do a search and you can find schematics and info on how to build the switch - but read clear through the threads - some of the early posts had errors. The switch just selects different resistor values.

Also, you can't switch it on the fly. The motor has to be off and the ECU shut down prior to switching. The ECU senses the resistor when it powers up.

Yeah I did come across the make your own thread. I don't think I have the skill or patience to squezze the resistors into the switch so I'd probably just opt for the 70deg switch. Should I go ahead and remap my FCU as well? If I have a dealer remap my ECU, will I still have more than one map to switch between?

Yes and yes.

If I haven´t got a map switch, whitch map is the default? Is it the strongest or can I get with map switch more power like is in default? I have FS570 ´10. Thanks

Default is "standard". With the switch you can select "soft", which is nice when is slick terrain, or "aggressive" if you want quicker response.
