I in stalled the 2010 LED light on my 2011 570. When I installed it, the light worked properly with me front brake lever. After 1 ride in is permently on. Any one else have this issue. Is it one of the brake switches? How do I test?
Make sure that the little switch attached to the brake lever perch is solid and attached. Same thing happened to me a while back, I siliconed the switch to keep it from backing out.
The LED rear light on my 2010 FE570 was the only thing I ever had warrantied on the bike. The brake light stayed on, something in the circuitry failed. The new one has bounced around back there for over 11,000 miles and still works great. Had to replace the stop light switch on the front brake lever from a crash, their are expensive!!
