Hello,
I know that there is alot of research that can be done and alot of posts i could look at but time is running out. I live in canada and my bike is sitting at the US border and i need to order some stuff to pick up with the bike. I am pushing it now for time to get things ordered. i was just wondering... whats the essentials i should order for this bike.. so far going to order the 70degree map switch. rad braces from cyclebuy the enduro eng braces, a few oil filters for the summer, cyrca hand guards, ....

Just wondering what else i should order asap that will benifit me and the bike.
thanks!

Have had mine (2010 FX450) for about three weeks. If you don't have a dealer in your area, you might consider the shop manual CD so you can efficiently manage the maintenance. I ordered one since we have no dealers within 200 miles. The only other thing I needed was work on suspension; I am 20Kg over standard weight so talked to a few suspension tuners and all suggested different springs and valves. The best guy I talked to happens to be DaleEO, who frequents this site. He loves Bergs and knows them well. So, he is doing mine. Other than that, the bike has loads of power and is fantastic.

LMAO, I guess I could have read your location..
Seriously if you like your MX pants get a pipe guard, I always recommend the P3 carbon fiber piece. It's pretty sweet. IMO the only real must haves are handguards, rad guards, skid plate, pipe guard and fan kit. Everything else is because you want it. those 5 parts will save you money and frustration down the road.
The factory frame guards are good to get too because the right side has an exhaust grill covering the pipe part before it goes into the silencer. And that will save you burnt pants too.
