2010 FE570 Fork Oil Quantity?

The manual states 635 ml or 21.47 oz per fork. Changing/draining only the fork fluid I get 17.4 oz out of one fork (the leaky one) and 17.9 oz out of the other. Not sure how much should go back in.

Where is the rest? Has anyone else with this model measured their drained fork oil?

Bleed the forks and set the oil to 110mm

620ml/20.96fl oz. This will be the dry fill quantity after a strip/rebuild. If you're just draining and refilling you'll not get this much out.

The 2010s here have open cartridge forks, which you would only set oil level via a measurement from the top of the tube, not volume.

It is common for bike forks to be out of spec on oil amount from mfg. It is also common to not be able to easily get all the oil out of a fork, unless you do a full teardown and let er drip for a while.
