Yeah, can you believe it? my bike has about 12 hours on it and I took it out a few days ago only to tow it back to the truck. luckily, only 3-4 miles of fairly flat terrain. checked EVERYTHING and thought.."no, it can't be loose terminals"
read all the posts about not having a kick start has been no problem? well, I'm that guy who has wished there was one.
However, would not bump start either. so....jumped it thinking..maybe the battery got a cold weather drain. and, it started. ran it the rest of the day and took it home only to discover...yes. LOOSE terminals. good thing is of course only loose terminals. bad thing is....why the hell did not the guy who set up the new bike tighten the bat terminals ?!! and BLOW MY DAY! (part of it anyway) by the way...this bike absolutely ROCKS. traded that day with my buddies 300 xcw and.....wanted mine back right away. if your not in the right gear with those 300's, nothing there to pull you up the hill. my berg however,....just stay on it and...your up and out and into the next. sooooo good.
