For my 570 - should be the same for yours:
There is a map switch you can buy. It is a rotary pot type switch. It comes with directions. I think there is also a sentence or two in the owners manual.
You connect it to a connector behind the number plate/headlight.
There are three different settings:
1) 'Beginner'
2) 'Aggressive'
3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0 = 'Standard'
My dealer tells me it doesn't work 'on the fly' - you have to stop the engine, select your setting, start the bike and wait fifteen seconds while the EFI adjusts. Then you are set.
I am putting mine on today because I finally broke in the engine.
