you need to set the valve clearances! yoiu need to set the pilot screw under the carb.they are the two key problems with staring these. after this it is;1) the auto decomp spring is too weak and so you get full compression straight away. I sell a mofdified spring. 2) starter repair kit. the gears slip. 3) they only need a 'red hot start button' if they are running rich. I sell a leaner jetting kit. with a lean kit...they never need it and that goes for any bike.cheersTaffy
