Just a post from a long time pencil pushing Husaberg rider. My 06 Fe550e is in great shape and runs fantastic, still loving it. I am 250 lbs and Have really been fighting the suspension, new springs in front and adjusting front and shock clickers all many times but not happy, finally will have a pro shop deal with it next month, but I dig my ride. Reliable as heck, now at 80 hrs and has sprung the water pump seal leak but will get that fixed soon too.

great bike, planning to have it a long time.

Good to hear most things are going well Bob.
Same here on my 2005 Fe650e. I have had my suspension done professionally. I do have a small amount of fluid coming from the weep hole but that's it.
At 99 hours and 2,800 miles all is well. I change the oil every 3 or 4 hours and have no excess particles on the drain plug magnet.

All I did to mine was drop the forks 7mm, soften the forks 4 ckick and the back 5 clicks and tighten up the seat. 2 oil changes (one filter) in 940 miles and 47.8 hrs and one filter clean. I baught it new in march. I think I want the Power-now thing but 1st gear in technical rocky terran is realy nice. The front tire is almost in as bad a shape as the rear, the side knobs are all almost cut off (thats new to me). Kind of alot of wear on the shifter pedle. Good to go.

I agree Bob. Great bikes. Planning on having mine a long time also

I have a 06 with 185 hrs on it runs great. At 80 hrs is when I stopped carrying the around the 10 lbs of tools and parts I needed to keep my 02 on the trails and making it home.
