My 2005 FE450 just hit 100 hours. This bike has been extremely reliable so far. Other than regular maintenence it has consumed one set of tires, battery and an air filter. I have yet to kick start it as the e-start has always performed flawlessly. Only two valve adjustments were needed. So if anybody wants to know if these bikes are reliable I would have to say without a doubt very.

One set of tires in 100 hours? At 100 hours, I was on at least my 5th rear tire. Disregarding the consumables, my '05 has been like yours--stone reliable.

yup my 2006 Fe450 went 140 hrs before I traded it in, was stone reliable.........had the water pump seal leak was all.
