I have currently found a local 2004 fe450 with 2700 miles and 105 hours...bike is super clean almost showroom condition and previous owner was very meticulous with maintenance. I currently have a 2003 drz400 with 7k miles and just want a little more wow factor along with a little better off road performance..the bike has new cams and new cam bearings i belive he said also forkseals had been recently changed..I rode the bike and was AMAZED by the power and how smooth it was...Checking valve timing will not be an issue as i have worked on bikes before..and oil and filter changes are easy, Their asking $3250 for the bike and i can sell my drz for around $3000 think it would be a good trade?

I have a 2004 fe450 I found it to overheat on single track You cannot fit this yr bike with a fan I ended up buying a 2006 fan kit / rad guards and radiator I found a used 2006 tank after the smoke cleared it cost me 1400.00 for the upgrade I also have a 2007 DRZ400 bought new, it now has 18000KM on I love it and would never sell it Just depends what kind of riding you want to do I like my 2009 Gas Gas ec 250 way better than the Husaberg for really tight single Got to admit the power on the Hberg is way better then the DRZ

The owner says he never had his overheat once...also i ride alot of dirt roads not into racing or single track...once in a while ill ride 50-60 miles on trails..im in PA...think that would cause overheating issues?

As long as you keep the air flowing thru the rads you we be fine
