2001 Husaberg 400fe ... what are they worth? are they worth

Moving from MX to enduro/green laning...

My boss has a 2001 Husaberg 400fe (i think) road
registered with an expired MOT. Low mileage example, he has owned it from near new.

Neither of us can seem to find a ball park figure for what its worth...not many about for sale at the moment if any.

Any feedback on the bike itself and the pice would be gladly recieved.

$1200-2100USD depending on condition...... since its your boss tell him you can only pay 1526.34 after taxes top dollar, assuming its in good shape

i think a lot of people are scared of the unkown berg and drives down the resale value...good for you bad for him....just that way it is...

Providing its ok on inspection...if i did buy i would obvs drop all the oil and filters, new battery, fresh fuel and maybe clean out the carbs etc, but is there anything i should check for or keep in mind for a bikes thats stood 99% of its life

worth about 1,000gbp up to 1,750 for a minter with everything done to it.

they had a lot of problems in 2001-2003. it won't start on the button for sure (not unless I had my mitts on it!

) you'll have to do lots to mkae it a nice bike but they will run OK-ish while everything on it is wearing.

make sure you have a runner or at least check for a fat spark as the stators go and are 200gbp to repair.

I specialise in making them run nice and on the button....
