Two things here. First, there is a 2001 Berg FL550 on eBay, looks really nice! Second, for those of us who need a memory refresher, what is an FL? Looks like a desert version of an FC. Kick start only, long silencer, can't tell if it is an 18 or 19" rear wheel. This bike on eBay is "like new", and does look good.
 
Hey Buzzard, take a close look at the pictures on the listing, it is an FC model.. Husaberg made FE, FC, FX models no FL's Don't quite know when the FX's stopped being made. the FC model is the motocross model, I think with a 4 speed and a 19 inch rear.
 
yeah looking at the side panel you can see it says FC550 but I guess to the non-Husaberg enthusiast the "C" could be mistaken for an "L"
 
Yes, you are right! I was worried that some model had slipped past me without me knowing about it. Also, I was worried that an FLH was due out next, with saddle bags and windshield. It is a good looking FC550.

Ya it does look nice, I don't think he will meet his reserve though, even if it is practiaclly "new" as he says. It must be someone who does not know what he has, especially if he is touting it as a FL... Did husaberg even make a '01 FC550? so that would make a line up of 470, 501,550, 650for the FC's :?:
 
I own a 2001 FC550.6 speed tranny and 19 in. rear wheel.Great bike. I have had it since new......no problems other than the usual cam rocker rollers going south at about 50 hrs.
 
I guess they did make the fC with the 6 speed, duh! I had one... an 02 470 w/6speed
