I was looking through some of the posts and the DOC and I see people talking about changing there alloy sprocket to the 2003 steel sprocket. I have a 1999 FE 501e and I am in the middle of an engine rebuild and this engine has the alloy cam sprocket with a Regina chain. Is it possible to fit the 2003 501 steel sprocket to my 1999 501 engine and still run original chain and tensioner assemblies. Any info much appreciated.
