The six speed trans is giving me problems I suspect shift forks but wanted any opinions. My bike slips into what seems like neutral , if I hold it in 1st with pressure down it will go, if I left off the gas it is in neutral again, go to second or 3rd or 4th if I don't keep pressure on the shift lever up or down it goes into a neutral no go deal. Any ideas on what could cause complete failure in every gear?

well if it's a new problem its coz the mechanism has come loose in the left cover perhaps, if it's gradually getting like this it's because the dogs in your gerabox have had it and if you bought it like this or it's like it after an engine rebuild well i guess it was put together wrong!
