need a stator. I'd like to add the flexability of lights if I chose to go down that road in the future. Poked around and looked like a KTM 400LC4 is a direct swap as long as I use my cover. What other options are there. Going to contact RM Stator as well. thanks!!

I beg to differ on that one Zaga, the 98 and 99 have totally different resistance specs, plus the inner connections of the windings are different from each other.
But like Ned says the 98 is under the flywheel and the 99 is in the ignition cover.
