I have a 1994 FE350. It's a sweet ride, except for not being able to find neutral with the engine running while not rolling

It will be your selector fork and your clutch hub. The selector fork burrs over at the 'claw' and just remove the burrs and you'll get neutral again.
The second problem is getting neutral stood still only and that's the clutch drum. Get a new clutch drum. You could try and find a drum from the 2003-2008s and with some new style steels, the drum, 12 steel tubes and some washers you will always get neutral.
