Believe it or not, I am riding a 94 501 with license plate and it has been very kind to me. I bought the bike about 2 years ago. I took the rocker box off for the first time to check things out and found that my exhaust valve rocker arm has a notch in it large enough to cause concern. I am wondering how to adjust the auto decomp correctly or can I even just eliminate it. Is it possible that the cables could be out of adjustment and the arm in the head is hitting on the rocker arm and causing this damage. Also, what is the best way to about fixing the problem. Any conversation regarding this issue will be appreciated.
