well if you are just after a spark. it is easy. the stator needs checking first for ohms resistance.
green to black is 23 ohms
red to blackl is 1,750 ohms and is usually the one that goes wrong.
wiring. connect the black to black, green to green and red to red between the coil and the stator. the orange wire is for a kill switch so if that is touching anything = no spark. connect that into the kill button. there will also be a second black from the coil and that wants to be an earth/ground.
This should give you a spark but the stators are known for packing up on them.
after that, you may have 3 more wires coming from the stator. these will be two charging wires and another earth. the earth goes to earth and the two charging wires need harnessing. if you get a regulator/rectifier one piece unit you will convert the charge wires from AC to DC. with DC you are ready to go off to the lights and horn.
