I adjusted my valves last night. It was mainly a check as they were not far off. Yes 1/6 is near a perfect .12. Gage goes in there nice. I set the exhaust at 1/5 or close to it. I marked 1/6 and 1/4 to get a visual on 1/5. Then set 1/5 right in the middle.

you'll have to let everyone know if you have any problems because we are a conservative old lot and it'll only be a lack of noise and problems etc that will make it at least as good let alone better.

i certainly 'feel' better doing it.

I had a good ride yesterday. The bike ran well and also because I had changed pilot screw setting. For some reason it was at 2 out and running a little rich. I did some testing with idle at home and came in to 1 3/4. Motor seems spot on for 1 to 2,000 elevation. As for valves, I feel good about it also. I get in there probably earlier than most to check and adjust. Every 15 to 20 hours. It only takes me around an hour or so. Some do it faster, but I take my time to just make sure I'm satisfied with em. :)
