Ok, tried the other 570 starting issues treads, but did'nt find any like my prob.
The case is: When pressing the starter button, the starter tryes to make the engine roll, maks about 1 turn, and stops, the battery Volt drops from 13V to 4-5V..
Thougth that maby my battery was dead, so tested with a car battery, dropped down to 8-9V when trying to hit the button. Then after 6-8 tryes, the starter and wiring was hot.
Started easy before i changed the valve shims. Shims was in spec the first 32H sumo miles (0.12mm-.0.15mm) But after 4-5H dirt driving, they where down to 0.01-0.02 ! So changed them. Before the shim adjustments, the bike started fine :cry:
Can it be my starter thats dead?
Washed the bike, before i started working on it, and it took 3 weeks before the shims came ( Ordere shims from my local HD in Norway :lol: ) So can it be that it's got some liquid damge ?
