2008 FE 550 will not turn over when cold. the starter just spins. its ok when warm. could it be just the torque limiter-or should all the free :bounce3: wheel gears be replaced also?
It is difficult to find out ... an expert might tell the difference in sound. But with your LHS cover off you can hit the starter breifly in see for your self. Remember to support the torque limiter with a finger so it does't drop out.
