The way I bought this bike was a converted FE 450 to a plated bike. I like the LED turns & tail light, but not so much the controls. So, I have a complete 06' FE 650 harness including all sensors etc. Id like to implant this factory harness & switches to my bike & keep the led stuff. Does anyone know if this is plug & play such as ignition etc ? I know the LED stuff will need me to solder/shrink wrap, possibly diodes right ?
Eventually I will have my dropped valve 650 built to drop in this bike. Wondering whats ahead of me in advance !

I gutted the aftermarket street wiring kit off my bike today & just barely started lacing the factory wiring from an 06' SE 650. I did knotice a small plastic box in the aftermarket harness that says it was for the led lighting. Wonder if I can use this ? I suspect it has to do w/the flasher. The gutting of wiring was supposed to be in this post , sorry

Can you implement this “box” into the new harness? If so I’d run it for the led indicators. If not it’s not a big job to convert to LED anyway.

I getting ready to solder/shrink wrap the front and rear LED turn signals.

can you line me out on what I need to do before I go too far ?

Im not seeing how that other flasher box is going to play out.

Awesome, today I was able to finalize all electrical including that "led flasher box". Everything is working properly. Today was a great day . Back bled the brakes to have front & rear pressure switches activate, all good ! Tomorrow all electrical gets soldered & shrink wrapped w/factory connections :) This is turning out nice :)
Moved the needle one clip to enrichen the mid as it used to kinda fall on its face a bit .
Soon will be a runner for sure !
